About Sara

Sara has always been surrounded by craftsmanship and the world of making. From an early age, she was immersed in the manufacturing environment of her parents’ factory, where steel, acrylic, and glass objects were hand-produced and printed with custom illustrations. This hands-on setting sparked her lifelong love for both design and the physical process of creating.
Although she now spends much of her time developing concepts and working digitally, Sara still finds immense joy in being on-site—whether it’s painting, assembling furniture, or crafting bespoke pieces herself.
At 19, Sara began her formal studies in Interior Design at IADE, where she graduated top of her class. She went on to complete a Master’s in Pure Design, an experience that proved creatively formative thanks to the dynamic exchange with fellow students and inspiring lecturers. It was during this time that the influence of Modern Eames helped shape her aesthetic, particularly through her interest in chair design. Upon finishing her Master’s, she was invited to lead a newly opened studio at the university, a role she held for four years before relocating to London.

Before moving to the UK, Sara worked across Spain designing restaurants and hotels, not only producing design drawings but also participating in on-site fit-outs. In 2005, after moving to London, she joined the renowned firm B3 Designers. She thrived in the collaborative and challenging environment, embracing a design process that differed markedly from her previous experiences. Over 12 years at the studio, she worked directly on more than 150 projects for a wide range of commercial clients.
By 2020, Sara's independent practice had grown steadily. She also began designing and producing her own chairs for private clients, combining her love of design with hands-on craftsmanship.
Sara now works closely with clients on bespoke residential projects and deeply values the creative freedom this brings. Many of her clients become long-term friends, and her network includes dancers, writers, doctors, artists, and architects. She considers it a privilege to collaborate with such a diverse and inspiring group of individuals through her work.
