Kid’s Bedrooms
Our clients wanted us to design two bedrooms in their house: one for their two daughters, the other for their son. We created spaces that felt welcoming whilst also being easy for the children to keep tidy.
For the girls’ bedroom, we took the concept of the recognisable shape of a house and applied it to the structure and décor of the room. Cupboards and a dividing shelf were built to emulate pitched roofs, underneath which the girls’ beds were slotted. This ‘line’ of roofs was continued onto the wardrobe, the lower part of which we wrapped in the same beautiful, flower printed wallpaper. Each bed was given a fabric headboard in blush.
The boy’s bedroom features a world map as wallpaper whilst the cupboards and shelving have been painted in the same light blue as the walls. Ample shelving allows books and toys to be displayed and accessed easily.
