King's Cross
Yellow Bathroom
The bathroom in this house was designed to make the most of the space whilst maximising storage. We chose a bright yellow triangular tile to inject brightness. Handmade in Spain, the tiles’ reflections work in bouncing light back into the room. Adding a bath which is narrower at the bottom than the top allowed the clients to move easily around it. Concrete features include a concrete sink. We installed a mirror wrapping around the back wall onto the walls on either side, which creates infinitive reflections and a sense of space. The yellow curtain was brought back from the USA by the client and works perfectly with the overall design.
