Mural Entrance

This mural is located in the entrance hallway of our home in Islington, London, connecting the ground floor to the first floor.

The space is narrow and receives little natural light, so we wanted to create a statement piece that would offer a welcoming and memorable experience upon entering.

We worked on this project with the artist Victoria Poveda, who developed and executed the entire concept. Victoria traveled from Madrid to London to paint the mural, using 15 different colours from Little Greene to bring this entrance project to life.
Victoria came up with the idea of creating an imaginary landscape using different shades, generating a sense of openness and adding light to the space, particularly with the lighter tones towards the top.

The mural covers the floor, all four walls, the ceiling, and even extends over the two doors located on either side of the hallway.

It has become a standout feature that offers a warm and striking welcome to our home.
