My Interior Design Studio

I started my own studio in 2018 after years of experience working in Madrid and London. In 2020, I found the perfect space for it right underneath our home on Upper Street in Islington. It was once a storage area for a restaurant, but I saw its potential and turned it into a creative workspace.

Even though it’s small—just 9 square meters—it has everything we need. A long counter along one wall provides workspace for three people, while shelves, drawers, and built-in storage hold material samples, books, and project references. I also added an acoustic panel to improve sound quality and create a perfect place to pin up ideas and samples using Velcro.
The studio’s front has a unique three-dimensional logo designed by set designer Rachel Thomas. It features a small house model and our branding, making it an eye-catching detail for people passing by. The window also allows a glimpse into our creative process, making the space feel open and connected to the street.

It may be small, but this studio is full of personality and designed to be as functional as possible. It’s where ideas come to life, and I love working here every day.
