Sara Leonor Studio is excited to share the transformation of a lovely home in Islington, London. This project focused on making the space more functional and comfortable for the family while keeping it light and spacious.

The main change was moving the kitchen into the conservatory, which helped create an open-plan layout and made the kitchen feel much larger. This also added an extra room, bringing in more natural light and improving the flow of the home. 

We also created two new shower rooms: one in the old wardrobe area near the entrance and another in the boiler room next to the master bedroom. These additions helped make the home more practical and better suited to the family’s needs. 

The open-plan space is unified by continuous concrete flooring, making it feel even more open and airy. Custom details like the fitted wardrobe and kitchen in the conservatory not only make the space feel bigger but also provide extra storage, helping to keep the home organized.

Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms – the master and a kid's room. We focused on making sure there was plenty of storage in both rooms for things like books, clothes, and toys, making the space neat and comfortable for the whole family.

This project has turned a lovely white house in Islington into a bright, modern, and practical home that works perfectly for the family living there.
